Chatham-Kent Drywall Sheet Installation Services

Before the invention of drywall, the majority of walls were formed from plaster being applied over wooden strips. This plaster was made from gypsum and was in a wet form. These days we still use gypsum, but it is hardened and comes in the form of a large solid sheet which we commonly know today as drywall. Because of it’s ease for installation and repairs, drywall sheet boards quickly replaced the traditional method of wet plaster. Although wet joint compound known as plaster is still used today during the mudding and finishing processes, drywall sheets are used exclusively during the installation. Give us a call today to find out more about the varying types of plaster and plaster board available. Our team would love to connect with you for all your drywalling needs.
